Supervisor Ellis reported that the CAC committee has
interviewed a counsultant to aide in the
overpass/underpass for the landfill expansion. The town of
Mrs. Costley talked to a DEC
representative at the regional meeting for Town Clerks and asked if there was a
way we could use hi speed internet for licenses. He told they are looking into that and
may be able to have it in place next May 2007.
The CDBG Grant of $400,000.00 has come in for the Town
of
A grant request to
administer the program for the application process thru the Thoma.
The time frame before all is done to accept
applications is late November, early December. The money has to be spent by
2008.
The Town will have a position on the deed for a 5 year
period that if a property is sold and has received a grant with a profit they
will have to pay back under special conditions.(profit or not.)

the Supervisor to enter into a contract with NYS Small Cities Project Community
Development Block Grant Agreement.

The
Time Warner contract was discussed. Supervisor is working on getting cable
hookups and internet services for the Fire Companies.
The
paperwork is done for the flood damage done in the June 2006 flooding. It amounts to $30,000.00.
NEW
BUSINESS:
Town
Clerk Costley told of a laser fiche program that
could allow the town to do their own scanning and could be used by many
offices. She will try to see if
this can be done under a grant process thru NYS.

do hereby authorize the transfer of $530.00 from A4020.400 to A1410.410 Clerks
expenses and 100 from the Historians expenses, therefore approving the bills as
audited for payment.
