On the Insurance for the town attempts were made to get 3 quotes for the coverage. Sprague Insurance Company was the only one who responded.
There was copies of the applications for the Small Cities Block Grants. The board decided they would need building permits to be able to keep track of them.
A special meeting will be held on January 27, 2007 at 12 noon.
On the purchase of a copier the Clerk will try to get other quotes from different dealers to give the option for a decision to be made.
Supervisor Ellis called for a moment of silence for Edward Loveless who passed away on the 16th of January, 2007.
A discussion was held on whether to fill the vacancy or to hold it for the November election. The board decided they would wait for Mr. Benjamin to be present before making a decision.
A summary of the income received from Broome County was read.
A letter from Gerald Kniskern was read resigning the position on the Planning Board due to him moving out of town.
A letter from Robert Smith was read resigning from the Planning Board.
A Rabies Clinic will be held in the town on May 9, 2007.
Grievance Board member will need to be appointed. It was suggested the clerk talk to Mr. Kicsak to make sure he would like to maintain the appointment.
The board discussed the cell tower being considered in the Town of Maine on Hardy Road by Verizon Wireless. It would give our town a bit more coverage. Some have tried to see if they would put one in the Town to help on those who can’t use their cell phones due to unlimited service in our area.

There was a discussion on a used roller, 1991 machine. The town would keep the smaller roller. It has water on both ends
Highway Superintendent thought we could use some of the FEMA money we received to purchase it.
The board asked how much use we would get from it.
If the town has to open the older roads we will use it a lot. The highway superintendent told the board that they could go look at the roller at Anderson Equipment. He felt it was in pretty good shape.
The highway committee will meet after this meeting.

Meeting opened to the public:
Mr. Bennett asked if there was any information on possible insurance for Mr. Loveless’s death. Materials will be mailed to Mrs. Loveless to fill out.
On health insurance the town will contribute for the next 6 months, after that time she can keep it by paying the full premium for 1 person.
ON the reval for properties the attorney will be asked to draw up a contract to do such with the Town of Lisle.
