Also Present:  Jake Slack, Hwy. Supt.,Glenn Simpson, Code Enforcer, Cris Smith, Rick Gummoe,

Deputy Supervisor Donald Benjamin opened the meeting with the pledge to the flag at 7:00 pm.

A Public Hearing was opened on the Budget for the year 2008 at 7:01 pm.

No spoke for or against the budget therefore the hearing was closed at 7:05 pm.

Open to the Public

          Kevin Grover:  He asked if Dingman Road could be closed to avoid a lot of difficulties he is having with vandalism. 

He would like to have the road maintained if the town does not want to close the road.  He has been maintaining the road by mowing, etc.  He told of being accused of taking the road sign down when a fire occurred on the road.  He is requesting 900 feet back to his property line.  With the traffic flow he wants to maintain the road by mowing, resurfacing, etc.

The board asked him to put in writing just what he wants done and present it to the board at the December 18, 2007 meeting.

We do hereby accept the minutes of the October 7, 2007 meeting as presented.   Vote: Whittaker, Baker, Benjamin, all ayes   2 absent

We do hereby approve the following bills to be entered on the abstract.

There was a discussion on the Alan Young property and a sluice sluice he wants replaced.  Highway Superintendent said he could not do it as the town has no easement for the land and it was reverted back to the landowner after using it to get out shale  from the Forkey family.
